Profile

About me: I am the designer behind the OPIUM Addictive Fashion, OPIUM Everyday and SYNERGY by OPIUM brands. For me, Second Life is about expressing creativity and individual spirit in a brave new (virtual) world. My medium is fashion, a true love of mine in both worlds. Former agency director for Metro Models, now retired. It's been a long journey in Second Life and who knows where it will lead next?

SL Partner: Unpartnered

First Life: In my First Life I'm a graphic designer and all-round nerd.

SL RESUME

Second Life Businesses:

OPIUM Everyday is affordable style. Mix and match separates for women, including accessories and a popular line of jewellery. At OPIUM Everyday you'll find business attire, dresses, lingerie, swimwear, casual stuff and more. Find OPIUM Everyday at Le Zoo.

OPIUM Addictive Fashion currently features the Le Burlesque line of exotic lingerie. Sequins, pasties, feathers, fishnets... everything you need to tease. Le Burlesque has a special section of the OPIUM Everyday store.

SYNERGY by OPIUM is a new skin system that offers an alternative to traditional all-one-layer skins. SYNERGY works by replacing game files on your local hard drive, freeing up the "skin" slot on your avatar for makeup, tattoos, nail polish, etc. It will be released in March of 2009.

Model and Fashion Agency background

I launched METRO MODELS in Fall of 2007 with a select group of fashionable avatars. Intended originally as a boutique agency for small shows and shoots, the METRO agency grew until it became far too much for just one person to handle.

During the year and a bit that METRO was active, I held workshops, built stages, coordinated models, ran choreography, and wrote show scripts.

I've produced over 10 fashion shows in Second Life. Many of these featured more than one designer, and a few were for charity benefits.

METRO Virtual Fashion also had its start as a quarterly fashion magazine produced by METRO and featuring its models in a high quality in-world publication.

All this wouldn't have been possible without the assistance of some talented SL avatars: Anessa Stine, Nemi McCoy, Valena Glushenko, Delilah Karas, CronoCloud Creeggan, and all the models, writers, and designers who have helped along the way.

I officially retired from METRO MODELS in January of 2009 and still have a consulting role with its evolution: Metro Media Group.
